Isn't ALPUC a part of
ALPOA, the Alpine Lake
Property Owners
Association?
Though most
of ALPUC's customers are also members of the Alpine
Lake Property Owners Association, ALPUC is an entirely separate corporation and
not a subsidiary. It has its own Board of Directors and General Manager.
Alpine Lake Homeowners
are Members of ALPUC and are entitled to one vote per house in the annual
election of ALPUC Board members. This takes place at the Annual Meeting of the
Membership, on the fourth Saturday in June, on the same date as the Annual
Meeting of ALPOA. A quorum of 20 Members
is required for business to be conducted at the Annual Meeting. The ALPUC Board
even though not required to, currently meets, normally monthly, to share
operating activities with its members.
The Annual Meeting and monthly Board meetings are open to all Members.
